Welcome to Van Vorst Park

Bright Street sits within one of Jersey City's most established historic districts, with Van Vorst Park just around the corner, surrounded by 19th-century brownstones and charming, tree-lined streets. The park hosts a Saturday farmers market by the gazebo from April through December, Shakespeare in the Park and outdoor films in the summer, and features a splash pad, dog run, and two playgrounds open year-round.
